Three sentenced over gory double murder

Three men, found guilty of the brutal killing of Owen Demingo, 31, and Sarah-Jane Oliphant, 22 in January 2011, have each received two life sentences.

The couple were abducted from the Chatty Community Centre, robed and forced to withdraw money from an ATM before they were shot and killed. Their bodies were dumped in Marine Drive.

Andrico “Boeta” Williams, 22, Shannon Mopp, 26, Junaid “Pang” van Vught, 28 were sentenced in the Port Elizabeth High Court today (11/12/14).
