Bay leaders to debate city's future

THE future of Nelson Mandela Bay will be under the spotlight at a seminar this week where Christian, political and business leaders will meet to discuss the roles of various entities in ensuring a better city.
Organised and hosted by the Nelson Mandela Bay Consultation of Christian Churches (NMBCCC), the seminar is to initiate a conversation between churches and political parties in the city, especially focused on the next 10 years.
The three-hour event will take the form of a debate, with political parties including the ANC, DA, UDM and COPE, as well as NGO umbrella body SA National NGO Coalition (Sangoco) taking part in the panel. - Thulani Gqirana
