Two arrested after girl, 17, shot dead in Algoa Park tavern

TWO men were arrested at their Keurboom Crescent home in Algoa Park today (22/09/14) in connection with the murder of a 17-year-old schoolgirl in a suspected gang-related incident last night.
Victoria le Roux died instantly when a shot was fired through the garage door of the Cradock Sports Bar in Jordaan Street, situated around the corner from the Algoa Park police station.
Police spokeswoman Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg confirmed the arrest but declined to comment further on the investigation as both suspects were currently being interviewed by detectives.
