Witness tells how friend was shot

A WITNESS told the Port Elizabeth High Court yesterday how a murder accused shot his friend who was standing next to him for no particular reason, as there had been no argument.
Mthobeli Makaya, 24, is testifying at the trial of Mbasa Mani, 25, who is accused of murdering Bulelani Mani in Veeplaas on January 21 last year.
Mani is also charged with the attempted murder of Nomfusi Labi on February 12, as well as a charge of robbery with aggravating circumstances. - Lee-Anne Butler
