Boy, 12, who allegedly shot friend, to appear in court with gun owner

A 12-YEAR-old KwaNobuhle boy will appear in court later this week for allegedly shooting his young friend.
Anele Mabomba, 7, is in a stable condition in Livingstone Hospital's intensive care unit after he was shot in the chest on Friday morning.
Although the 12-year-old was scheduled to appear in the KwaNobuhle Magistrate's Court yesterday on a charge of attempted murder, police were unable to obtain a statement from Anele before the start of court proceedings yesterday. - Kathryn Kimberley
