Zuma in rally call to ancestors

PRESIDENT Jacob Zuma warned thousands of residents in Nelson Mandela Bay at the weekend that their forefathers would turn in their graves if the ruling party was toppled from government.

Zuma was addressing a crowd of about 2500 in Motherwell during a busy Saturday.

His message was echoed by provincial chairman Phumulo Masualle. He told students at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) later that the ANC's road to victory needed to start with the Ward 1 and 56 by-elections in the region next month. - Mkhululi Ndamase and Thulani Gqirana
