Centre calls off fireworks display

The Moffett on Main Lifestyle Centre announced today that the centre will not go ahead with a fireworks display planned for Wednesday, 19 March.

“Permission for the firework display has been granted however, because we are sensitive to the needs of the community, centre management has decided not to allow the firework display”, it announced on its Facebook Page.

The new Galaxy Grill and Galaxy Bingo in the Moffett on Main shopping centre planned to celebrate the opening of their new stores with a fireworks display, but many people have complained following the notice of this display in The Herald.
