Recall of baby bottle sterilisers

A LEADING company is recalling its baby bottle sterilisers because they could cause injuries to users – including burns and electric shocks.
The B-Well Steriliser had been widely promoted for its natural capabilities as it sterilised bottles and breast pump accessories with steam only, not harmful chemicals.
Medela, the international company behind the steriliser, had initiated a "worldwide voluntary recall" – specifically for models with the numbers 008.0100 to 008.0104, 008.0121 and 008.0287. Consumers will be compensated.
