Plea bid in Bay shark export case

A LAWYER representing Fisherman Fresh, accused of illegally exporting shark fillets and octopus to Australia, has entered into plea negotiations with the state.
Owner Sharmilla van Heerden, 36, was arrested last month for unlawfully exporting several thousand kilograms of processed shark fillets and octopus without an export permit.
Her close corporation Fisherman Fresh is cited as the second accused.
