DJs shocked by brazen drug dealers

FEARLESS drug dealers in Port Elizabeth’s Central and nearby areas do not wait for clients to come to them, they approach potential customers – even running and driving after them when they leave in their cars.

Three Port Elizabeth DJs – Richard Saunders, 25, Ronaldo Gouws, 30, and Ravesh Mahabir, 43 – yesterday shared their experiences and pleaded with the public to be vigilant in Central and its surrounds after they were allegedly approached by drug dealers in separate incidents in the past two weeks.

Gouws said he had been in the industry for 15 years and commended club owners for ridding their clubs of drug dealers.

“But now they [dealers] seem to be running the streets of Central,” he said.
