A BRAZEN robbery of one of the province’s rising cricket stars outside a Port Elizabeth nightclub and bar has prompted police to warn residents to be vigilant.
Eastern Province under-19 cricketer Brydon Carse was robbed at gunpoint outside popular Mount Croix bar Castro’s in the early hours ofyesterday.
Police said patrons should be wary when leaving clubs and bars late at night as criminals were known to wait outside to pounce on them.
Carse, who is also a member of the SA u-19 training squad, was robbed by two men he said were trying to sell him drugs.
