Mercantile’s R30m makeover

LIFE Mercantile Hospital in Korsten, Port Elizabeth, has embarked on a R30.4-million makeover, which includes a larger renal unit to accommodate the growing demand for dialysis and a new double- storey parking area.

The upgrade, which brings the number of parking bays to 472, is the biggest revamp the hospital has seen in its 20-year existence.

The new renal unit and the parking area have already been completed.
