Accounting and Xhosa exams go off smoothly

NELSON Mandela Bay matric pupils heaved a sigh of relief after completing their accounting and Xhosa exams yesterday, saying they were glad to see the end of the day.

The pupils, who were among 22235 in the Eastern Cape writing accounting, said they found the paper “more enjoyable” than its trial exam counterpart.

Eastern Cape education department spokesman Malibongwe Mtima said the accounting exam had gone smoothly, despite principals in Lusikisiki nearly being prevented from fetching exam papers.
