Seventy concerned volunteers join forces in to ‘put PE on the map’

A GROUP of residents passionate about Port Elizabeth are hoping to make it “the greatest city in South Africa” and have established six projects to achieve that goal.

The group of 70 volunteers – including Mandela Bay Development Agency (MBDA) chief executive Pierre Voges – have decided on six projects which they hope will transform the city.

Project Nelson Mandela Bay and the concept of “putting PE on the map” was inspired by a presentation in October last year by M & C Saatchi Abel chief executive partner Mike Abel.
