Bethelsdorp old folk fixing up their home

A FACILITY for the aged in Salsoneville, Port Elizabeth, is undergoing some radical changes including a name change and a revamp.

Residents at Bethelsdorp Accommodation – known previously as the Bethelsdorp Old Age Home – have been withholding their rent for the past four months.

The money, between R160 and R520 a month depending on the size of the units, is paid into an account set up by a committee which then uses it to manage and oversee renovations.
