Rail commuters angry

METRORAIL passengers have had enough of unplanned stops, rude rail workers and generally feeling unsafe during their commute between Uitenhage and Port Elizabeth.

Up to two million passengers around South Africa use Metrorail every day. The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa)-owned transport service’s theme is “Getting South Africa to Work”.

But Uitenhage resident Yusriyah de Long, 21, said: “They should have added: ‘Getting South Africa to Work, late’.”
