FROM helping out at the SPCA and care centres to mentoring children with disabilities – Woodridge Preparatory School Grade 7 pupils have gone all-out to make their communities a better place to live.
The concept of “Grade 7 pupils giving up five hours of their free time to serve the community” – started by headmaster Trevor von Berg in 2010 – gives children at the school the opportunity to see how their actions can make a difference in people’s lives.
Some pupils even go the extra mile by doing community service wherever they spend their holidays. Deputy headmaster Franzl Bause said: “I am extremely proud of our Grade 7 pupils.
