Call for Fairview planning moratorium

NELSON Mandela Bay's municipal town planners are finalising the blueprint for housing and business developments in the greater Walmer area.

But there are fears the plans may contradict recent business rezoning approvals made by the council in the Fairview area.

There are also fears that new developments could place further pressure on the busy Circular Drive and William Moffett Expressway.

There are no plans in the municipality's budget to expand the roads.
