Daso presidential candidate sure track record will win vote

THE DA Students' Organisation SRC presidential candidate, Luthando Mtyobile, believes his organisation's track record at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in the past two years will be enough to clinch them a victory tomorrow.

Mtyobile, 27, said yesterday that helping to clear student debt, lobbying to have WiFi installed in residences and pushing to extend library hours during exams should be enough to convince the students to give Daso another term in the Student Representative Council.

The organisation is also lobbying to have a campus radio station by January.

Mtyobile said if the students looked at Daso's track record when casting their votes this would "guarantee" that Daso stayed in power.
