Watsons share their Love Story

"GO and do the same".

That is the poignant Bible passage driving the work of Nelson Mandela Bay non-profit organisation, Love Story, which officially launched last night.

Southern Kings rugby captain Luke Watson, whose wife Elaine is the founder of Love Story, urged Nelson Mandela Bay residents to be compassionate towards those who had far less than they did.

Luke said it was not a charity or social upliftment initiative, but a movement for restoration aimed at bringing hope to the city's poor.

"Our number one resource is Jesus, which means we will never run out of resources as ours knows no bounds and has no limits," he said.

"Through soup kitchens, clothing donations, education initiatives and so forth, we try to restore people's faith by meeting their most basic needs.

"Everything we do is led by the Holy Spirit. .. and our ultimate goal is to transform the city."
