Dolphin Rally revs up for cancer kids

A GROUP of young Port Elizabeth cancer sufferers received some tender love and care when the city's Dolphin Motorcycle Club officially launched this year's Dolphin Rally at the Paxton Hotel in Humewood yesterday.

Club members handed out nutritional food parcels to children living with cancer at the launch of the rally, scheduled for October.

Club spokesman Pastor Dean Martin said the bikers were supporting the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa) this year, adopting its Tough Living with Cancer (TLC) programme for children and teenagers diagnosed with or affected by cancer. The club supports a different charity every year.

Cansa community mobiliser Gladys Nomatiti Ncalula said the group appreciated the club and the rally's support.
