Volunteer to ring in changes for the needy

PORT Elizabeth counsellor Aviwe Mzazi has been chosen as one of 20 Vodacom Change The World volunteers and has committed herself to helping those in need.

Mzazi, 26, who has a degree in social sciences and honours in psychology, chose to use her counselling expertise at LifeLine in Perridgevale, Port Elizabeth.

The initiative enables volunteers to work for the charity of their choice for a specified period, at no cost to the volunteer and host organisation.

“I worked for LifeLine before and I heard about the programme. Ever since it was launched, I wanted to do it.
