IT was a classic case of “like father like son” at a Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University graduation ceremony on Saturday.
Well-known Nelson Mandela Bay artist Michael Barry, 58, graduated with a master’s degree in education, while his 30-year-old son, Mikale, earned a post-graduate degree in education.
“We are very proud of our son,” Michael said.
Michael is employed in an arts and culture support department at the university where his tasks include addressing diversity and integration at the institution through arts and culture.
