Sergeal ‘dives’ into the hearts of Kings fans

TEEN wonder wing Sergeal Petersen “swallow dived” his way into the hearts of more than 30000 adoring fans when he inspired the Southern Kings to an upset 22-10 Super Rugby win over the Western Force.

“I just got the ball and did what I was supposed to do,” a beaming Petersen, who was named man of the match, said after his brilliant display at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday.

The Kings had been on the back foot until the irrepressible 18-year-old pounced on a loose ball after 15 minutes and raced away from the Force defence before executing an exuberant swallow dive-style try.
