'Hazardous business' in North End causes ire


THE Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality has been accused of allowing a "hazardous" car spray-painting business to operate in Port Elizabeth's North End.


The city has also been criticised by businessman and chairman of the Nelson Mandela Bay Ratepayers' Association Kobus Gerber of ignoring pleas to clean a North End taxi rank twice a day.


In a letter to The Herald, businessman James Mclaggan alleged that K and S Bodyworks spraypainted vehichles on the street out in the open.
