Application by rural clubs delays AGM


A LATE application by rural clubs for readmittanceinto EP Cricket has forced the postponement of the organisation's annual general meeting scheduled for tomorrow.


EP Cricket sent out a notice of the postponement to clubs, saying that "due to certain important processes not having been completed timeously" the meeting had been moved to September 28.


"We wanted to be fair to the clubs. The nominations have not been finalised yet," EP Cricket president Dr Malcolm Figg said.
