Two kids drown in muddy farm dam

TWO children, aged 12 and 14, drowned in a muddy farm dam near St Albans yesterday.

The 14-year-old boy, Thembalethu Jala, died while trying to rescue his friend, Divino Wolf.

It is believed a group of children went swimming to cool off. Divino got stuck in the mud and Thembalethu jumped into the murky water to save him. Both then disappeared.
