Churches reach out to online congregation

WHILE fast-paced living catches up on residents, often preventing them from attending church, pastors and worship leaders are making it easier for Christians to take part in services even if they are not sitting in the pews.

Even tithings can be paid online.

Several churches in the city, of a variety of denominations, have set up websites encouraging both existing and potential worshippers to take part in their services.

In addition, they have set up Twitter accounts and Facebook profiles, allowing congregants to make their views on sermons public.
