The boere-diva with the magic voice, Nataniël, will be in Port Elizabeth this weekend to perform two concerts at the PE Opera House on Friday and Saturday.
Nataniël shares the stage with the Charl du Plessis Trio, in a show which promises to be a stylish mix of cabaret, musical theatre and stand-up comedy.
The trio features Steinway artist Charl du Plessis on piano, Werner Spies on bass and Hugo Radyn on drums.
An extra treat for those who love the flamboyance of the singer is the chance to see his new collection of glamorous costumes designed by Floris Louw.
With more than a dozen CDs and books under his sash, the prolific artist also has starred in more than 60 stage productions and his sold-out performances in theatres nation-wide attract an audience from all walks of life.
This time around he will present new Afrikaans and English stories from his favourite stage productions from the past year. Well-known jazz, pop and rock covers will feature alongside new melodies from Nataniël’s pen.
The shows are at 7pm each night. Booking is at Computicket and ticket prices range from R130 to R250.
