Kelly Khumalo played the proud sister and sparked controversy in two separate outings this past weekend.
In one, she joined friends and family in celebrating her sister Zandile Khumalo’s traditional wedding over the weekend.
In the other, she showed up to the Gauteng Sports Awards looking as if she was wearing no pants.
Zandile tied the knot to Mabala Noise communications boss Hloni Gumede in an intimate traditional ceremony held in Mgangeni KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday.
Taking to Instagram after the ceremony‚ Zandile gushed over her new hubby.
“I did say it’s the way that he looks at me that makes me blossom‚” Zandile wrote‚ next to a picture of the pair on their big day.
And Kelly Khumalo couldn’t be happier with the union. She attended the wedding along with her two children Thingo and Christian.
Dressed in colourful traditional gear‚ Kelly and her children were all smiles as they danced and celebrated with the couple and wedding guests.
Kelly took to social media after the ceremony to pay tribute to the couple‚ posting pictures of the pair and the caption: “I’m so happy for these comrades of mine“.
Zandile later took to Instagram to pay tribute to Kelly‚ calling them the “perfect definition of forever”.

Khumalo became the talk of the town when she showed up to the Gauteng Sports Awards only half-dressed.
Kelly doesn’t really care about all the fuss even though her outfit got tongues wagging when it became clear there were no pants under with her fancy jacket.
As critics filled Twitter with messages lambasting her‚ uh‚ interesting wardrobe choice‚ Kelly has left her critics in the dust.
Besides joking that she had many enquiries about where her pants were‚ Kelly took to Instagram on Monday to post a quote about not caring if you are being accepted by others.
And in case we didn’t get the message the first time‚ Kelly later posted a picture of herself in the controversial outfit next to some striking words about detaching herself from things that are not beneficial to her.
“I have learned to effortlessly detach from anything or anyone that doesn’t complement who I am‚ watch me as I walk away‚” she wrote in a post labelled as “my truth“.
