Television actress Mbali Enhle Mlotshwa will be the guest speaker at the Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber’s annual women’s breakfast on Friday, September 2.
The “Celebrating Women in Business” breakfast will be held at Slipperfields Wedding and Conference Venue on the western side of the city and the chamber is inviting Bay businesswomen to join it for a Mad Hatter’s style event.
Mlotshwa is an actress, TV presenter, style icon and brand ambassador for Dawn. She has been cast in a number of South Africa’s leading soapies such as Soul City and Rhythm City and as Nandi in 7de Laan.
Although she tries to keep a fairly low profile, she also is married to the internationally acclaimed DJ Black Coffee. Currently she is appearing on the weekly DSTV entertainment show, Starbiz.
The Herald’s online lifestyle section My HeraldLIVE is the media sponsor for the breakfast and The Herald deputy editor Nwabisa Makunga will be the MC for the morning.
The popular annual spring breakfast is one of the chamber’s flagship events as it presents businesswomen from leading member companies in the Bay with an excellent opportunity to network among themselves and form the connections so important to the success of a business.
Tickets are R350 per person and the dress code is “business casual with a fancy hat”.
Guests are asked to arrive at 8.30 for an 8.45am start, and it is expected to end around 10.30am.
