“Kate and Wills welcome baby girl.” Not ‘welcomes.’ Surely an English newspaper can get that simple sentence right?

Kate was ‘safely delivered’ of a daughter, yes. Will’s I don’t think so. He may have been present at the birth, but that is all .. I know because I gave birth to 7 children and my husband was present for the births64 of 5 of them … but believe me, I was delivered of them. Not my husband!!!!!

I believe that is what it says “her Royal Highness, the Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered a daughter at 8.34am” William mentioned later as having been present.
