More than 300 couples entered The Herald Bride and Groom 2014, and next week La Femme will publish the details of the 24 lovebirds who have made it into the final 12 couples of the competition.
The Beach Hotel is inviting the top 12 couples to a cocktail function on Thursday, March 12, with drinks and canapés, and the winners will be announced the same evening.
Here are a few of the fantastic prizes in store for this year’s winning couple:
MSC Sinfonia will treat our winners to a four-night spring cruise to the Portuguese Islands and Inhaca;
Francarlo Designer Goldsmith will give a ladies’ diamond rose gold piece and a gents titanium watch to the value of R13 498;
Ultimate Stylists will give a bumper hair package including Loreal product hampers and hair services;
The Function Warehouse, 3 Fat Fish Catering and Events with The Mills Culinary Academy Chefs and Thunzi Bush Lodge will give the top couple a dinner for 12 guests;
Defy Appliances will give a washing machine and a dishwasher;
Pollen Florist will arrange a bouquet once a month for 12 months;
Sphere Photographic will give the winning couple a photographic shoot;
The Herald will sponsor return flights to Durban and a 12-month E-Edition subscription.
Over and above these prizes, all 12 finalists will receive prizes on the night of the cocktail party, and one duo will be the beneficiary of a lucky draw for a weekend away at Addo Elephant Country Estate.
This mini-break will consist of a weekend stay for two at the Addo Elephant Country Estate, with bed and breakfast included.
From March, La Femme will publicise 2015 wedding photographs. No more wedding photos from 2014 will be accepted for publication in March.
