If you have always dreamt of being a television presenter, then there is a series of auditions you simply cannot afford to miss – you might even get your shot at the big time in the Bay next weekend!

SABC3 is kicking off a national presenter search from today and is looking for someone with style, a passion for fashion and a devotion to all things glamorous.

If you think you fit that description, then this is your chance to be seen.

The first round of auditions for the reality television-style series Presenter Search on 3 are in Cape Town today and tomorrow, after which the audition process moves to Nelson Mandela Bay next Sunday February 22.

Durban gets its turn on February 28 and March 1, with auditions ending in Johannesburg from March 6 to 8.

Over the next few weeks, Presenter Search on 3, supported by Nedbank, will scour the country for fresh new faces to grace the screens of South Africa.

The three winners chosen at the end of the process will become presenters on lifestyle shows Top Billing and Expresso, along with a new show still be confirmed.

It is a potentially life-changing experience that will allow ordinary South Africans to live their dreams, according to Nedbank’s marketing executive of retail and business banking, Vanessa Singh.

“Our partnership with Tswelopele Productions and SABC3, which spans several years through the Presenter Search show, provides a great platform to unearth some of the countr y’s finest talent.

“Out of all the presenter hopefuls from across the country contending for one of the three spots to be South Africa’s newest members of lifestyle television, the lives of three individuals will be irrevocably changed,” Singh said.

The Port Elizabeth auditions will be held at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium next Sunday.
