When a fresh band rocks a friendly city

After the Proteas’ loss to West Indies, Freshlyground lifted spirits at afterparty

Balmy weather, idyllic nights and unbeatable entertainment set the tone for a first-class weekend all the way. I spent last Friday on the Richmond Hill “Strip”, followed by a long night of dancing.

La Kouzina, where I stopped to munch a bit and quench my thirst on their fancy dora, has become ultra-fashionable, with socialites practically fighting each other to get a table.

I bumped into the Cashmere Mafia having a great night out as a group. Liz Prins sported a sweetheart-necklined black and white dress while Yolande Roy was in a sexy black dress.

These gals know how to have fun and of course, no self-respecting girls about town would be seen without the gay best friend either. And these ladies have several. Oh, the fabulosity!

Saturday night was spent at the fabulous Soho Molecular Bar, which always attracts a super-stylish crowd. The wine prices broke the bank this Janu-worry, but the connections you make are priceless.
