NMMU, German orchestra unite

THE NMMU music department is involved in a symphony concert with the Academic Orchestra of the University of Stuttgart, to be held in the northern areas tomorrow night.
The concert at the New Apostolic Church in Palm Ridge will see the NMMU Choir performing alongside the Stuttgart visitors in a concert that will also involve soloists from the University of Fort Hare's music department.
The orchestra from Germany celebrated its 50th anniversary last year.
Their national tour kicked off in Pretoria and they will next perform in Cape Town before returning to Germany.
The concert is at 7pm and entry is free.
