10am: Lake, Fringe family theatre, at Memory Hall. Suitable even for small children, a humorous story with a message about brotherly love and conserving water;

12 noon today: The Snow Goose, Fringe drama at Glennie Hall. Paul Gallico's gentle tale of how the love of a wounded bird can lift wounded spirits, this has been so popular at previous festivals that it has returned;

7.30pm: Kyle Shepherd Trio, Jazz, at DSG Hall. Your last chance to catch Kyle Shepherd in concert, with the equally fabulous Shane Cooper on bass and Jonno Sweetman on drums;

7.30pm: Ubu and the Truth Commission, Main theatre, Rhodes Theatre. This multimedia piece is directed by William Kentridge and presented by the Handspring Puppet Company, and is both chilling and hilarious;

8pm: Cargo: Precious See preview on this page;

11.30pm: Jou Ma se Comedy Club, Fringe comedy, Bowling Club. One for the late-night party animals, Cape Town comedian Kurt Schoonraad shows off a variety of comics every night.
