Final opportunity to join performing arts workshop

IT HAS been an amazing journey thus far for the Performing Arts Network of South Africa (Pansa) Eastern Cape Youth Theatre Project, the first of its kind.

More than 300 young Nelson Mandela Bay theatre lovers got the chance to expand their theatre knowledge over three months in workshops touching on all aspects of theatre production.

All the workshops have been free of charge and open to all. Pansa EC is aiming to give as many young people as possible an opportunity to learn and grow within the project.

This weekend will be the final opportunity for youth to take advantage of the workshops as this phase is set to draw to a close.

The project will end in August after chosen scripts have been transformed into a production to be staged at The Savoy Theatre for public viewing. Each production will have its own cast, designers and production teams. Performances will take place on July 30 and 31 as well as August 1 and 2.

To ensure that you or somebody you know doesn't miss out on this golden opportunity, book a place in the workshop of your choice by e-mailing Alet du Toit at or call/ SMS 072-211-3979.
