IT is time to diarise the last weekend in May for the red carpet event of the wedding world – The Herald Boardwalk Bridal Fair – which, this year for the first time, will have the added attraction of matric dance dresses.
The 23rd annual bridal fair will be presented for the second time at the Boardwalk International Convention Centre in Port Elizabeth, starting on Friday evening May 23 and continuing all weekend.
And, several Bay designers will also present cocktail and special event wear alongside their bridal finery, along with new exhibitors known for their matric dance dress success.
The Eastern Cape’s biggest and best bridal expo will, once again, be a one-stop collection of professional businesses in the wedding market and it aims to include everything a bride-to-be and her entourage need to plan the perfect wedding.
One of the big attractions of the fair is the chance for one couple to win the wedding of their dreams from top service providers in this industry – don’t miss your La Femme next week when this competition launches, as only original printed entry forms will be accepted and they will only be published in The Herald.
This year our fair will be showcasing gorgeous wedding gowns, sizzling red carpet glamour and magical matric farewell style with more than 120 exhibitors showing their wares over three days.
Guests will also be treated to five one-hour spectacular bridal fashion shows, starting on Friday May 23 at 6pm and shows at noon and 4pm on Saturday and Sunday,
Although many exhibitors have already secured their floor space, prospective exhibitors may still contact event manager Linda Harwood for information on which areas are still available.
