JUMP into true festive party mode with a pumping DJ line-up bringing you hot summer beats at The Grand party which will take place at the Grand Hotel tonight.

The Syndicate presents The Grand with two dance floors. DJs PHFat, Guns ‘n Lazers, Kush, Dollar Hane, Skullmonkey and Energy Field will occupy the outdoor stage, while the second dance floor, hosted by Coast to Coast, will shake to the beats of DJs Morne Munro, Pierre Enslin, Fonk and Faraaz. Cape Town-based PHFat is a fresh and talented electronic rap crew that bolted onto the South African music scene in 2010 when they opened for popular American hip-hop group Public Enemy.

Local electronic bass DJ crew Guns ‘n Lazers will present an audio-visual sensation that fans have come to expect from the group.

Other Port Elizabeth DJs include hip-hop regular at DNE nightclub DJ Kenichi and deep house artists Down by Law and Jay-B – all regulars on the Bay’s lively party scene.

The party will start at 3pm today at the newly renovated Grand Hotel situated on the corner of Belmont Terrace and Whites Road in Central, Port Elizabeth.

A drink special of double vodka and Red Bull at R20 will give you wings from 3-8pm. DJs will stop spinning the decks at 2am.

Pre-sold tickets are R70 with tickets being sold at the door for R100. The Grand will also offer a shuttle service for ticket-holders. Inquiries: Mike at 083-633-3042.
