Make that mark as a paintball fighter

STRUGGLING to get teenagers off the couch and outdoors might not be an issue this summer with a field, body armour, a few rounds and a semiautomatic paintball gun.

With Paintball Heaven the kids will be asking to go and have a shootout every chance they can get.

Paintball Heaven has six playing field options – new tower castle, urban, concrete speedball, air ball speedball, small forest and big forest field.

The paintball specialists will meet all your paintball needs from body armour to paintballs. They stock all major brands, including Spyder, Tippmann and Sterling Inferno at their onsite shop at 48 Victoria Drive in Walmer, Port Elizabeth.

The site has a braai facility and customers must bring their own utensils and braai equipment.

With an onsite tuck-shop, Paintball Heaven can supply all your snack and drink requirements but customers may bring their own.

Paintball Heaven has a Friday and Sunday special which includes all your gear and 150 paintballs for R100 per person. Various kits cost R100 (all gear and 125 paintballs), R230 (all gear and 500 paintballs) and a 10-player package deal which includes all the gear and 2000 paintballs for R1000.

All groups require a R200 deposit to secure a booking.

Paintball is recommended for children aged seven years and up and participants must wear closed shoes.

They have two venues – 48 Victoria Drive in Walmer, Port Elizabeth and a field in Uitenhage two kilometres on the Kruisrivier Road – available for an action-packed day.

The Port Elizabeth field is open daily (Monday-Sunday) from 9am until 5pm and the Uitenhage field is open Saturday and Sundays from 11am until 4pm. Inquiries and bookings: (041) 366-2134 or 082-798-4870.
