ATTENTION all you kids! Expect to meet Santa and a whole lot of other zany characters amid much fun at the Port Elizabeth beachfront this week.
Santa has a surprise for lucky girls and boys at the Boardwalk and a bag full of Barbie dolls, trains, puzzles and electric toys to give away to eight lucky children.
To enter Santa’s lucky draw, all you need to do is fill in your details on the card and drop it in Santa’s post box.
You will find Santa’s Cove in the Craft Workshop opposite the Spur until Sunday.
Cards can be obtained from Sweets from Heaven, Wimpy, The Magic Company, Spur, the Craft Workshop and from Kids’ Corner.
Children can also have special photographs taken with Santa in the cove today, on Saturday and on Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
From tomorrow until December 24 between midday and 2pm, families at the Boardwalk can also look forward to Popsi the clown who will be painting faces and putting on a magic show.
Mr Pritt will be making surprise visits, Pooh Bear and Dora the Explorer will be visiting the complex, and there will be colouring-in competitions, biscuit decorating and kids’ crafts fun. On Wednesday, the sky will light up with sparklers around the lake.
Sparklers can be bought on the day for R5, which includes a lighter. Sparklers can also be bought from selected restaurants. All funds will go to the children at the Chris Hani shack settlement.
On Friday, a Christmas teen treasure hunt will take place. Entrants aged between 13 and 17 will compete for prizes.
