SWEETWATERS Barn at the Crags near Plettenberg Bay opens its doors again this month to host a multimedia fine art and crafts exhibition.
The exhibition in the 150 year-old, historical venue will display a range of top quality fine art paintings of all genres, ceramic work and crafts, sculptures and quilt-making from various artists from the Eastern and Western Cape.
The event will be hosted and curated by the Tertius van Huyssteen and Llise Dodd Art Gallery.
Van Huyssteen and Dodd are known for their pop-up art exhibitions where their shows can be set up anywhere at any time.
The Sweetwaters Barn will be the most interesting venue on their list of locations for the year.
Van Huyssteen said: “This builds on last year’s very successful art exhibition where we attracted lots of tourists and sold a good variety of art and crafts.”
The opening of the exhibition will take place from 6pm on December 18 and will run daily from 9am to 5pm until December 21.
Entrance to the exhibition is free and guests will be able to view and purchase top class artwork at reasonable prices.
