Exciting new activities for the whole family at kids expo

THERE are new and exciting activities in the Clover Playground and an Amazing Race of fun for the whole family at The Herald Clover Kids and Baby Expo later this month.

The fourth annual expo taking place over the school holidays from Friday, September 27 to 29, will again be at Moffett on Main Lifestyle Centre in Walmer, Port Elizabeth, from 9am to 5pm. A full day pass is R30 for adults and R20 for children and pensioners.

Sponsors and organisers have boosted the event this year with the expansion of the Clover "Way Better" playground with active fun such as putt-putt, netball, boxing and Tropika soccer goal shooting.

Delicious product testing experiences are also planned with a Super M tasting competition. Kids visiting the expo will also receive a yummy Super M 200ml milkshake with their goodie bag, plus a Pritt giveaway while moms will receive a Living & Loving or Your Family magazine.

"Super M is the perfect drink for your kids, not just because it tastes great, but also because it's a healthier alternative with the goodness of milk and energy to keep them active throughout the day," said Clover representative Sheena Cassidy.

Atmosphere Crafts will host four Amazing Races over the weekend involving unlocking safes, puzzle building, crafts and taste testing as well as spelling "cut out and paste" challenges from The Herald.

There will be mosaic kits and craft prizes and the race offers a real treat for spectators; "the whole race is between 20 and 30 minutes and greatly entertaining to watch," said Sue Human from Atmosphere Crafts.
