Kids expo back with even more action

THE HERALD Clover Kids and Baby Expo – the biggest family expo in the Eastern Cape – is back in the September school holidays, with lots of fresh attractions to provide a great weekend of indoor entertainment experiences for the whole family.

The Expo will be held in the school holidays from Friday September 27 until Sunday September 29 at Moffett on Main Lifestyle Centre in Port Elizabeth.

"It's a top priority for me that the kids have a heap of fun – and they will!" promises event organiser Linda Harwood of the fourth annual expo.

Harwood has devised a new layout to ensure ease of access through exhibition stands that will include the very best of: indoor entertainment and fun; wellness and nutrition; development and education; furniture and decor; clothing; sport; creativity and crafts; photography; technology; travel and leisure, and food and drink.

This year will also boast an enlarged interactive play zone which will include the popular Clover playground; a fun rugby coaching area with the Future Kings team leaders, a large action cricket zone with Youth Cricket Academy coaches; two giant kids roller balls; Windsor Kids playground; sewing workshops; Sandart in the creative zone; as well as a full all day entertainment programme on the stage arena.

Exhibitors will enjoy selling and marketing their products and services to the family market, including expectant parents, parents, teachers and children. The expo will be held in the basement parking area which offers a secure, central and weather proof environment which includes a comfortable baby changing area.

Entrance will be R30 for adults and R20 for kids but once inside all the stage entertainment and exciting all-day sports and creative action arena activities are free.

"The Kids and Baby Expo will be providing families with a great opportunity to entertain the kids in the school holiday," Harwood, who advises families to circle the dates now, said.
