Mathousand treasures mom

PORT Elizabeth kwaito star Sthembiso Kula – known as Mathousand – took some time out from his busy schedule to enjoy lunch at his favourite restaurant, the Flaming Arrow Spur in Humewood. He enjoyed a Big Bear combo (which has a 150g steak, a quarter chicken, a 100g lamb chop and 200g Spur ribs) and washed it down with a glass of red wine.

I love my job because it’s entertaining and I get paid for it.

I have a soft spot for my fans.

I should have studied music, it would be nice to go deep into music so that I can know the disadvantages and advantages of music.

I’d love to party with my friends – because of our busy schedules we don’t get time to be together.

It would be nice to get together one weekend and party as if there is no tomorrow.

I’m listening to Methodman, Mandoza and Lebo Mathosa.

When I was 16, I wish I knew a lot about finance and that I had someone teach me about saving money.

I’ll know I’ve made it when there is no space in the bank for my money. When I have a beautiful house and a car of my dreams.

The person who has taught me the most is my mother.

Even though she passed away a long time ago, I still remember her teachings.

My music weakness is R&B

Nothing makes me happier than to see everyone around me happy.

I absolutely hate people who do not appreciate what they have.

I am saving to buy my own studio in Port Elizabeth. There is a lot of talent that still needs to be developed in PE and not enough recording studios.

I share my life with my family.

I can’t go a day without my Blackberry curve 9300.

In 10 years I see myself improving the lives of many South Africans by fighting poverty. We need to create more jobs for young people and by so doing there will be less crime to deal with.

My favourite places in the metro are Red Location Museum, Humewood Beach view, Shark Rock. I also enjoy shopping at Walmer Park and Greenacres shopping malls.
