A MORNINGSIDE personal assistant is La Femme’s winner of the last makeover prize from Placecol Skin Care Clinic in Walmer Park worth R2000.

Samantha Horn, 29, said she always wanted a makeover.

“I saw the last makeover that Placecol did and I was impressed. I thought I would take a chance and see what happens. I couldn’t believe they chose me,” Horn said.

Placecol stylist Trevor Terblanche, who has his own salon in Algoa Park, said they chose Horn because she had so much potential.

“When I saw the photo that she sent in, I knew there was a lot I could do. I trimmed her hair a bit and coloured her hair beige blond. I dyed her roots reddish and used auburn for the bottom,” he said.

“We also did a facial and Samantha’s make-up was done with very natural tones. This complemented her hair and was not overpowering.”

Terblanche has been hairdressing for the past seven years. “I specialise in cut and colour. I do Brazilian hair treatment and extensions with human hair.”

Horn said she loved what had been done.

“I am very happy at the result. Trevor knows exactly what he is doing. I will definitely go back to the salon.”
