FRESHLY back from the style capital of the world, fashion designer Natalie Creed is already on the move.
Although she only recently set up shop in the Athenaeum in Central, she is leaving Port Elizabeth and migrating to Cape Town next month – but not before sharing a corner of her Central flat with La Femme readers.
“My boyfriend and I have been wanting to move for a while and we finally decided to take the leap. I will be working in the industry there, and plan on re-launching my label a little later in life. For now, we want to enjoy our youth and travels and think that Cape Town will be a great base for that,” she says.
My style in five words: Colour, trinkets, vintage, quirky, intricate.
On my wish list: An antique chaise longue in pastel colours.
Best colour: Chartreuse.
Pet decor peeve: The Fat Ladies paintings!
My indulgence: My fragrance collection.
Favourite movie or book character: Sienna Miller’s Edie Sedgwick in Factory Girl.
Creed visited Paris earlier this month with her hairdresser Christilene Erasmus, of Head Candy, who won the Davines World Style Contest using Creed as her model.
