Photographers snap Addo’s diverse wildlife

KEEN photographers got their cameras out and headed for Addo to take part in the recent My Addo photographic competition – run jointly by Canon, Katz Camera World and the Weekend Post – which raised in excess of R10000 for the Honorary Rangers.

Winners of the competition, which was of an exceptionally high standard this year, are:

SLR 1st prize, R20000 Canon voucher: Charmaine Joubert (Baby Elephant)

SLR 2nd prize, weekend for two at Addo National Park: Nico Henning (Going Home)

SLR 3rd prize, weekend for two at Mountain Zebra Park: Julia Mukheibir (Ellie Bath Time)

SLR Honourable Mentions: Alan Levin (Lion Yawn), Coenie Els (Dung Beetle), Kirk West (It Was Fun), Laura Bolton (Elle Babies), Rodnick Biljon (Elephants on the Go)
