ALGOAFM has a hot new lineup of presenters and shows.
Joining the crew is OFM’s Vuyani Nogemane, known as Vinny. From next month he will present a 10pm to 2am show on week nights.
“This is a homecoming for me and a very meaningful one,” said Nogemane, who was born in Fort Beaufort. “My show is all about people working on night shifts. I just have to make them feel comfortable and know that they are not alone.”
KayCee Rossouw will host the weekday 7pm to 10pm slot and Tove Kane will present the Saturday lunch show. These changes follow the departure of Mio Khondleka and his wife, Queenie Grootboom.
Doreen Loubser, who presented the 5pm to 6pm slot, will join the AlgoaFM newsroom on a full-time basis. Charl Leslie will be the station’s music compiler after Keri Martens left the station for Cape Town-based KFM, but will still present his Sunday 6am-9am show.
